In this post, we’re taking you behind the scenes to explore the meticulous process that goes into designing and crafting our exquisite leather lingerie.
Our design team are inspired by trending styles and themes but also by adult industry trends, to create the sexiest items for our wonderfully wicked customers. We consider what types of items are selling well for our brand (ouvert briefs are always a winner), and what items or styles we don’t currently have in our arsenal of lingerie undergarments. At the heart of all our designs is our hero fabric – luxuriously soft, ethically sourced, real leather.
We design with the end user in mind, and each item of lingerie we produce is created to enhance the female form, leaving you feeling a million dollars. The panels and structure of each undergarment flatter and sculpt the female figure while buttery soft fabric caresses your skin. We design each piece to empower women into feeling their boldest most desirable self, from peep cut-out details, to bold straps that frame the curves of your body.

Once the designs have been decided the real fun begins with the sampling process bringing our amazing ideas to life. Every item is turned from a design drawing to a physical sample, and then tried on multiple times to ensure each piece of our beautiful lingerie fits and looks stunning when on the body. Once we are happy that we have crafted the perfect fit for each beautiful piece of lingerie, our garment tech team take each item and grade it to create all the sizes that we offer at Something Wicked.
Once each item is signed off by our highly skilled design and sampling team, we pass them over to our artisan seamstresses, who bring the final pieces to their full potential ready to be delivered straight to your doorstep. Each item is hand finished with a gleaming gold Something Wicked logo coin. We’re not just creating lingerie here at Something Wicked, we’re crafting a luxurious personal experience. We hand check, hand wrap and post each order with care and precision to ensure your beautiful new sexy lingerie outfits last a lifetime.

In an industry where there is a huge issue of overconsumption and industry waste, here at Something Wicked we do things a little different. We make all our kinky leather lingerie to order (but don’t worry we aim to get all orders out within 3-5 days, so you won’t be waiting long for your sexy underwear to arrive) we hand cut all our fabric out so that we can make the most of each piece of fabric and minimise waste wherever possible (and then donate any pieces of fabrics we can’t use for our kinky knickers to a local school’s textile department).
